LOVE TYPE D
LOVE TYPE D is the debut comedy feature of writer-director Sasha Collington and tells the story of a woman who discovers she has a 'loser in love' gene after being dumped for the twelfth time. The film premiered at the 2019 Edinburgh International Film Festival where it was nominated for the Audience Choice Award and selected as one of the top five most 'buzzy' titles by ScreenDaily.
It has since been long-listed for a BIFA Discovery Award, won 'Best Screenplay' at RiverRun International Film Festival, 'Best Film' at DC Independent Film Festival, and 'Best UK Film' at Manchester International Film Festival. It played at a number of BAFTA and/or Oscar qualifying festivals beyond Edinburgh and RiverRun, including Cleveland, Cinequest and Seattle. It is being distributed by Vertical Entertainment in the US.
